This is our definition of worship. To fawn over someone means "to praise someone too much and give them a lot of attention that is not sincere, in order to get a positive reaction;"7
This is God’s definition of worship:
I AM exalted
Worship is the highest form of love.
You put me up there.

God was very specific in the order of who to love: The first is to love Him. The second is to love others as one loves one’s self. Too often, we give emphasis to loving others and very little to loving God.
Question: When can one say the one worships you?
God’s answer:
“I want to be just like You”
There’s no one else you would rather be but Me.

Question: Why should we love God above all?
The answer:
It is only in loving Me that you are perfected and
your love for others is perfected.
